About Exotec
Exotec offers an order preparation system based on a fleet of collaborative mobile robots. The Exo collaborative robots move the bins in the warehouse, thanks to their no-infrastructure navigation. The Fleet Control supervisor coordinates the motions of robots and bins. It interfaces with the WMS and assigns movement missions to the Exos. Exotec's autonomous industrial robots, called Skypods, aim to move horizontally and vertically and offer a “goods-to-person” picking system that the company says improves productivity and also reduces challenges from physical exertion that human workers face. The company was founded in 2015 and is based in Croix, France.
