OFA/NY Connects Staff Offer Application Assistance and Program Information | Oswego County

OSWEGO – Staff from the Oswego County Office for the Aging/NY Connects (OFA) will be traveling to several communities around Oswego County in the coming months to offer general information about OFA programs and services as well assistance with requests for those who cannot visit the Oswego office.

Residents are asked to call the OFA at 315-349-3484 to schedule a time to speak with a representative.

“Lack of transportation is an issue for many in Oswego County,” OFA Director Sara Sunday said. “In an ongoing effort to make information and support more accessible to our seniors, we are working with community partners to provide office hours in multiple county locations and bring OFA/NY Connects staff to these residents. .”

Community office hours will be held at the following locations, dates and times:

• Parish town hall – Fourth Monday of the month from 10am to 12pm.

– Jul 25, Aug 22, Sep 26, Oct 24, Nov 28

• Central Square Library – Fourth Tuesday of the month from 10 am to noon.

– Jul 26, Aug 23, Sep 27, Oct 25, Nov 22

• Phoenix Library – Fourth Tuesday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m.

– Jul 26, Aug 23, Sep 27, Oct 25, Nov 22

• Sandy Creek Town Hall – Fourth Wednesday of the month from 10 am to noon.

– Jul 27, Aug 24, Sep 28, Oct 26, Nov 23

• Library of Mexico – Fourth Thursday of the month from 10 am to noon.

– July 28, August 25, September 22, October 27, no November hours due to Thanksgiving

• Hannibal Library – Fourth Thursday of the month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

– July 28, August 25, September 22, October 27, no November hours due to Thanksgiving

• Fulton Library – Fourth Friday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m.

– July 22, August 26, September 23, October 28, no November hours due to Thanksgiving)
